Hi, I'm Grace.

In 2014, I received my bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Religion from Temple University in Philadelphia. I found my way to therapy by way of my interest in Tibetan Buddhist psychology. During an ethnographic study abroad trip to northern India, I remember feeling drawn to Tibetan Buddhism’s understanding of the mind and body. I deepened my knowledge during a month-long meditation course at Kopan Monastery and pursued further study in Buddhist psychology at Rangjung Yeshe Institute in Boudhanath, Nepal.

In 2018, after several years of non-profit work for a Philadelphia-based animal welfare organization, I decided to head west. I spent the next year working and living in community at Vajrapani Institute for Wisdom Culture, a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center in Boulder Creek, CA. With the intention of one-day incorporating Buddhist psychology into mainstream western psychotherapy, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I graduated from Portland State University in 2022 and am now a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.

I'm happy to now call Portland my home. I love spending time in the beautiful nature of the PNW and am slowly, but surely, exploring all of the places on my hiking list. I enjoy dance and embodiment practice, as well as rock climbing, roller skating, and tending to my plants in my free time. I have a rescue pup named Luna and a tabby cat named Bellamy (who sometimes decides to make guest appearances during session).
